House Rules
We aim to keep things calm, cozy, and comfortable for everyone.
- No pets – except for our resident dog, Pepper (hypoallergenic and very friendly).
- No food in bedrooms – enjoy snacks and meals in the great room, on the porch, or in our dining areas.
- All guest rooms are on the second floor – please note we are not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns.
- Quiet hours – we encourage connection but ask guests to respect quiet time between 10 PM and 7 AM.
- Shared spaces – our common areas are designed for comfort and conversation. Please treat them with care and kindness.
- No smoking or vaping in the home but permitted outdoors .
- No candles in the rooms.
Booking & Cancellation Policies
Clarity and calm, from reservation to check-out.
- Payment: We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the base price (before add-ons and taxes) at the time of booking to secure the room. The remaining balance will be due at least 14 days before your arrival. If you need to cancel within those 14 days, we will issue a partial refund only if we can re-book the room.
- Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
- Add-ons: Optional extras like supper, wine, or whiskey tastings can be added when you book.
